Ce livre propose une édition scientifique du texte original de La Diane, inédit depuis le XVIIe siècle, ainsi qu'une Introduction explicative et sa traduction en anglais.

Diane, a neglected comedy by Nicolas de Montreux (1594), deserves translation as a text mediating the models of Italian pastoral romantic drama and presenting significant overlap with the work of Shakespeare, especially A Midsummer Night's Dream. The volume features a full Introduction and a scholarly edition of the French text, unpublished since the 17th century.
